SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We are looking for a skilled videographer and video editor to capture, edit, and produce high-quality training video content for an assigned, contract video project(s). This includes on-set responsibilities and post-production editing. The ideal candidate will work closely with our L&D team to produce a video(s) that delivers on training objectives and resonate with our audience.

GENERAL EXPECTATIONS:

  • Represent the Mina Group professionally through effective communication, cooperation and relationships with all business partners
  • As this is internal training content, sign and abide by a non-disclosure agreement (NDA)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate in planning and setting up video shoot(s)
  • Capture high-quality video content. This includes operating video camera, lights, and audio, as well as managing interviews and b-roll
  • Communicate professionally and clearly with all video talent, stakeholders, and business partners
  • Edit raw footage into finished video(s) that deliver on all training project objectives
  • Set up and run review/feedback sessions with stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines
  • Deliver all raw footage and final content in the requested format

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Ability to physically load, travel, unload, and operate all video equipment required for the video shoot

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of videography and video editing experience
  • Led and managed a minimum of 5 training video projects for at least 2 different clients/brands
  • Proficient in video editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, and/or Adobe After Effects
  • Strong understanding of camera operation, lighting, and audio equipment
  • Creative mindset with an eye for detail
  • Ability to respond quickly to change/the unexpected in a professional manner
  • Knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects
  • Must be able to travel (and provide own transportation) within the San Francisco Bay Area to film on-site at restaurant(s)
  • Must provide all equipment required for video shoot, video editing, and delivery of raw footage and final project file
  • Must have equipment needed to set up and/or attend video project calls, which may include Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
  • Must display the image and positive attitude set forth by our organization’s philosophy
  •  Must be able to communicate clearly, both verbal and written

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Restaurant experience a plus
  • Proficiency in Spanish a plus

Salary: $50-75/hour on a contract basis
